I know a lot of people have the mindset of “well I just have to keep trying and eventually this problem will go away” but that is not how it works.
It works differently for different people, so I’m not going to try to tell you how your own mind works, but some people just wouldn’t ever find any fulfilment in dating someone, and trying to push yourself to doing so when it’s not actually something you really want is just going to cause problems.
I think it might be worth it for you to consider whether or not you actually want to date someone, or if you just think that you should because that’s what you are “supposed to” do. And if you are going to be thinking about yourself like that, do it with actual people, not with AI

oh yeah. a chatbot (from Character AI) a teen got told to just off himself by the chatbot.
it was back in 2024 or earlier i think.
and they had to put up a warning of saying the AI is fake. and pretty sure also faced a lawsuit from the parents.
