I generally don’t play PVP games by myself because I just don’t like them. I find the experience of playing PVE games a lot more relaxing and fun overall, but I wish to hear the opinions of other people when it comes to this because I’m interested!

i would like a good story with lots of memorable encounters, however i would like to pvp when im taking a break from grinding or following the story

a PvE based storyline is the most important part
leave the competitive PvP in guild stuff like island capturing and infamy farming
and still dont remove random killing because its fun!!! casual PvP is always good

PvE by far but I don’t care about people being able to attack or be attacked by others, it just shouldn’t be required for anything (except like guilds)

I disagree with the RKing part, it might be fun for the one that’s doing it but the person that was killed isn’t having any fun. Especially when the RKer is a much higher level.

PvP even though I like PvE more in most games since WoM npcs aren’t fun at all. Idk about AO npcs but I feel like they aren’t npcs I’d want to monotonously grind till the next update.
PvP, PvE is nice for the items but the main point of it atleast for me is to get the stuff I wanna try to fight other players since it’s fun but I’ll most likely fight the other players as soon as possible cause I’m not tryna be bored af fighting the same NPC 20+ times before I enjoy myself
Yeah a nice balance of both would be ideal for me. I like PvE, but don’t mind fighting other players every now and then.
Neither should overwhelm the other imo.
Even if PvE is fun, it’ll get boring once you fight the same enemies over and over and over, even if there’s some random factor to it. It’s a nice less stressful area where you can practice against AI and not worry about toxicity
With PvP, you get a nice replay factor as you can fight new people with different playstyles. However you have to fight other players and it’s way less accessible the further in you go.

Yeah, I am fine with that. I really like it when games give you a choice to PVP or just concentrate on PVE, I am the latter type of player. PVP can be fun when you are fighting someone equal to you, but it can also quickly become frustrating when the person you’re battling against is just a douchebag.
They win once and call you worthless garbage, then defeat them and they’ll start complaining that you spammed or used something they find “unfair”.
I’ve never seen this happen in WoM but in gun games definitely
