It’s time for a forum game like no other.
The Scene
It’s been approximately ten months since the end of the Second Perfect Storm, the cataclysm that ravaged Wevaria and left the Inner Provinces as well as Provinces 24, 1, 3, 19, 13, 10, and 18 in absolute ruins. Reparations are still ongoing. However, that’s not the main thing on your mind. The School of Weavers is on school break (finally) and one day you’re just walking home in your home province, when something strange happens… and your life is uprooted.
THE RULES
This game is based on the reality TV show The Traitors. Here’s how we’re going to play.
When you’ve made characters and I explicitly tell you the starting process is done, you’re free to join a bit of pre-game roleplay. However, on the 23rd of July, the game will begin, and you will be assigned roles: Faithful or Traitor. If you are a Traitor, you need to work with your allies to eliminate one Faithful every night and avoid being caught. As a Faithful, you simply need to survive and work out who the Traitors are.
NOTE: Any DMs in your designated numbered chat that are left unanswered, or in Traitor chat, will result in that player’s instant elimination.
Every day, I will set a mission for the players. These missions will involve finding a certain pre-decided boss drop in AO. You can get as many as you want until the mission is over, and these will add to the prize pool of up to 120,000 Drachma. At the end of the game, if all the remaining players are Faithfuls, they split this money between them. But if there is even a single Traitor, they take it all. I will need screenshot proof of the item being found, and it may not be one that was obtained before the mission began.
Near the end of each day, a banishment will occur: this is when you will vote for which player you think is a Traitor, and their role will be revealed and they will be eliminated. You already know how the rest works because there is nothing left to go over.
I am not going to say who the Traitors are. I am not going to hint who the Traitors are. I am not even going to tell you how many there are.
If you are a traitor, then intentionally revealing this fact or intentionally revealing any of the other traitors will have you eliminated and blacklisted from all future WT events. However, pinning things on other traitors is fine.
How To Join
Note: If you were in WT1, using your character from that is fine, but if you are attached to the character, I do not recommend it.
You simply need to fill out these fields.
Name:
Age (somewhere from 13-21):
Gender:
Home province (1-24):
Weaving (Water, Wind, Flame, Punch or Magic):
Weavings are not too important here as there is no combat but it is good for RP purposes. If you are using your WT1 character, just say that, don’t bother with the template.
After this, I will create your designated DM, where we will go over a couple more things. This is also where your votes at banishments will be gathered. When we are done, I will tell you that you can join the pre-game RP.
Reminder: You have two weeks to apply. Applications close and the game begins on July 23rd.
I also recommend joining the Discord: Wovencord
Best of luck. They are waiting.
