Woven Together REMASTERED

They’re having an all-you-can-eat buffet

To celebrate a new set of Weavers arriving

I start wandering around the school. Along the way I meet a familiar face.
“Jane! What are you doing here? You’ve unlocked a weaving?”
silence
“Really now. I didn’t see you getting on the train, how come?”
silence
“I guess I just missed you then. Well I’m off to… somewhere.”
I arrive to an unknown place.

Is this you letting me decide where you are, or do you know where you are and are keeping it hidden

You’re now in the cafeteria

I read a sign: “In celebration of the arrival of the new Weavers, we are hosting a buffet.”
“Great!” I say.
I think: “The train didn’t have enough food for me.”
I eat and restore some of the fabric I used in training.

I eat some of the food

I see someone else at the cafeteria. I greet them.
“Hi! Who are you?”

A blonde-haired boy with round glasses - looks about 17 - looks at you in his peripheral. “Huh? Oh. Hi. I’m Abacus. Abacus Salazar.”

Meanwhile, Gabriel is still fishing and notices few people looking for someone. He thinks to himself, “Hmmm… I wonder who these people are looking for; it for sure isn’t me since that rod didn’t have any note regarding its owner.”

“Nice to meet you, Abacus. What year are you?”

“If, by that, you mean to ask how many years I’ve been here, the answer is a big, round zero. I got here today, just as you did.”

“I see, haha. What do you think of the school? I think it’s great here. I’ve already learned to control my weaving after a month of not being able to.”

Abacus shrugs. “It’s okay - I don’t know anyone else who’s suddenly that in control though. I’ve made a couple friends already, though, which is good because… well, no one really liked me back in Nineteenth.”

“Good for you! I’ve only met one person. Forgot to ask their name but I haven’t seen them since being on the train. I’d say they were a bit crazy but we had a good talk. You’re from the Nineteenth Province, huh? I’ve never been outside of the Sixth. What’s it like there?”

“…Warm. It’s quite warm. I imagine that would be hard to envision, being from Sixth and all.”

“Hah, yeah… it never gets warm over there. I’ve got to get going. It was nice meeting you, Abacus.”
I head back to my dorm.

Leif notices you talking and walks over. “Hi”
