Yall have any clue how to emulate a pokemon game

I’m asking this because I have no clue how to and have been wanting to try and replay UM, do you have any idea how to get an emulator because I’m new to the emulation world (I own a physical copy of it it’s not piracy)

hes asking to pirate something mods ban him!

I mean I’m pretty sure it’s not piracy if you own a physical copy of the game?

mods ban him!

I remember there was a site that I used to play Pokémon ruby on. Not on my laptop rn so I can’t find it but you’ll probably get adequate results from searching “Play Pokémon […] online emulator”

Disclaimer: idk if this works for new games (I’m assuming UM means ultra moon which I’m pretty sure is relatively recent but I have no idea). I was using it for GBA games, recent games probably have a different way to emulate

use citra

also its still piracy if you own a physical copy but no one cares anyway

You can use Citra Emulator to emulate most Pokemon games I believe, just do some research and watch some veedeos so you get the gist of it. And yeah it’s not really piracy if you own your own copy of the game so don’t worry about it.

back off everyone the emulator king of the forums is here

first of all Mr. @WarmWater what Generation Game are you intending to emulate?
It’s best to get a emulator that can replicate a specific Nintendo Peripheral first.
I recommend getting a DS Emulator since Black and White/Black and White 2 as well as HeartGold and SoulSilver are by far the best emulators
and as such I’ll send you my old reliable: desmume
http://desmume.org/
this baby should be able to emulate any ds game
but i mean then again if it can run MMZX then it can run anything
sure there’s slowdown occasionally but it’s nothing much
just follow the instructions or find a guide online and you should be able to get it up and running
then just search up roms and you’ll be on your way

just remember:
only emulate games you can’t currently buy from retail
doing so is a dick move
not like your computer could handle a 3ds or switch emulator

i mean we may be pirates but we have honor damn you

Remember kids: If it is Nintendo, it is always okay to pirate

fair enough

I mean I did say the generation, I’m not sure if it is available in retail but it still isn’t piracy since, again, I own a copy of it

oh it’s a 3ds
well I’ve quite literally never emulated a 3ds game

imagine paying for games smh (joke)
