I think 40 minutes would be the average expedition in the dark sea knowing that to get to the last level it takes 1 hour with a full speed brig.

Yeah I think the main difficulty of it will be keeping the crew alive. Then again, it might not be that hard, especially if you have ravenna deserters and high level deckhands.
I doubt it will count if you don’t have a crew/they died before you entered the dark sea.

tbh i think this would count, depending on how the badge perceive thing ig ( either checks if anyone in the crew died or checks if the entire crew is still alive )
