At the center of catastrophe sat a girl
Surrounding this soul destruction whirl
Chaos itself wrapped her in a sheet of calamity
While the unfortunate souls around her faced tragedy
The pleas and cries of the doomed failed to reach her
She nor this world would ever be what they once were
For this seductive power did not let anyone go
Not until the destruction of the world and the soul
The city that surrounded this girl had become a graveyard
The lands and bodies beaten, bloodied, shattered, or charred
Her own mind and sanity would be the price for such devastation
This soul walked a new path in life without means of salvation
This girl knew the price and knew it well
How far she’ll go, no one could tell
What kind of mind did this girl have to excuse this atrocity
Just to go through with it, she had to forego her humanity
Now she stood as the flames would fall
The destroyer who stood strong and tall
A new purpose in life found while enduring the wither
She shall deliver the Apocalypse as it’s Bringer.
Probably not my best poem, might be, I don’t know. I’m not usually or really good at this stuff. With it being valentine’s day and all I figured that I should write up another poem to express my love for this magic. Though this isn’t really a story of love, arguably more about devotion, but I digress. Hope whoever reads it enjoys it, at least partially so, and have a nice day.
