I was a little bit indecisive on what build to choose, so I just never invested anything for most of the run.
Since I’m already this far, I might as well keep going until captain maria and max level. I beat every boss first try and this challenge isn’t that hard (easier when you dont have low fps from a massive inventory). My armor was random level 70 stuff with a focus on power + defense.
Fun fact: The eagle patrimony doesn’t take health if you have no stat points, and it has reduced mana cost so it’s pretty good (but still just a regular blast)
Most fun class out of these three
Warrior
Wind Conjurer
Knight
0voters
Best class out of these three (PVP)
Warrior
Wind Conjurer
Knight
0voters
Best drip (which one has the coolest attacks)
Warrior
Wind Conjurer
Knight
0voters
Not sure which of these classes I should choose when I’m done, please help me decide
One last thing: Regular spirit colors look pretty cool with magic (it looks better than what the screenshot shows trust) and I’m a little bummed out that paladins are forced to use warm colors (the reds and yellows) for their spirit energy
Knight is a PVP meta? I was playing and I didn’t like it because you either waste a valuable weapon slot on the eagle patrimony or basically completely give up your imbue
I think people voted for it because its conjurer in general and because its not warrior
What I’m really surprised about is that half of people voted night as the best class out of the three. I know it has spirit imbue but otherwise it just seems like warrior with lower tiers and slightly more size. Maybe the extra hp makes up for it?
However, people think the blue lightsabers are cool, so i guess that’s something
Turns out, when you awaken without any stat points spent nothing happens. I guess all that meditation was for nothing.
Nothing seems to have changed (I did more testing off camera). My charging aura is exactly the same. I’ve never made a savant, but I assume it’s the same since it has both my magic and spirit energy and it has my weapon color when I’m holding a weapon.
I beat Captain Maria without investing any stats and eventually got to max level (alongside probably finishing my drip). I guess I’m part of the no-stat point club, if there even is one.
She’s definitely easier than Calvus and sorta felt like a timing challenge. Annoying, barely constitutes fun, but somehow easier than when I tried to fight her on my Berserker file.
About the fate of the save file, I’ll probably make her a warrior.
First of all, I’m definitely not choosing knight because it’s still unfinished and I don’t want to deal with the vitality rework that’s coming up. It also seems like it’d play like warrior without ethereal flash (the only warrior exclusive ability I’d reasonably get) and less tiers (though this is offset by spirit imbue giving more size).
I’ll start with Warrior, and if I don’t like it then I’ll stat reset to conj. My logic is that if I do it the other way 'round it’ll feel like I’d have lost abilities (magic) and therefore have less fun. Also, I’ll probably transfer my armor build from my sailord file, and it’s more size oriented because that’s what sunken iron happens to have. So I guess I’m becoming a braindead warrior main? (I’m just curious, at least I don’t have sunken staff to be truly braindead)
I hope that I actually get my awakening cause I’m a little spooked out at literally getting nothing.
I might officially be a pvper because I have around 24 player kills on this file in only 16 hours. The only thing I’ve been doing is joining servers and dming people for a duel.
I’ve been having a jolly good time with Warrior. Being able to freely customize your weapons and get a bunch of fun colors gives me joy, though I feel like weapon customization is the illusion of choice (I don’t feel like going into detail on weapon types and how most of them aren’t viable and how most Warrior loadouts are the same). Even though one of Warrior’s supposed benefits is customizability, I feel like it has some of the least impactful customization of them all.
Poll stuff:
People voted wind conjurer as the most fun class out of the three and knight as more fun somehow, but I think Warrior is still really fun.
I can’t tell if Warrior is actually the best or if I’ve just been fighting bad players, but it seems to be quite good since I’ve barely lost any 1v1’s.
Warrior still has some pretty good drip despite being voted the least on drip. Knight seems like a bit of a one-trick with it’s drip since it’s just warrior but everything is a strong blue/purple (kinda like how musket is still viable as a one-trick with piercing shot).
You do get your awakening when you spend stat points after awakening with no stat points.
I plan on posting my Warrior’s finished drip in that one drip thread and auctioning my legendary scales (among other things) to get a brig or Warrior exclusive weapons or t2 weapon scrolls. Maybe I’ll do these right now since by typing this I’m reminding myself to actually do something on the forums.
