The NPC Chronicles, Chapter 1 - Citizen
I woke up to another day, happy and cheerful. What a nice day, I thought. Starter wizards are blastin’, the Minotaur is beating the Exiled, and the Sun is just rising over Bell Village!
There’s nothing that can go wrong for me, James Cutlass; after all, this is the World of Magic, where justice will always reign supreme over darkness.
I waved to my neighbors, with the smell of ashes filling the air. This is gonna be a good day, a day of new adventures, success, and more! Maybe I’ll find my true love today, but who knows! Life is an endless mystery full of chance and mistakes.
I walked around town, the Sun radiating onto my skin. The temperature never really changes, even when there’s a tornado, or the craziest thunderstorm on the planet, the mood always stays the same with the weather.
But there’s no storm today, the Sun is shining all around us, making everyone cheerful. Heck, everyone, even the dark wizards are walking about in the streets just being cheerful.
And best of all, the magic council hasn’t destroyed our town all week just because of a random bandit!
I go back on my earlier statement, today isn’t gonna be a good day, it’s gonna be a great one!,
