You can add any island you want in the game

You get to make the quests that are on the island, you can make a fighting style mentor on the island, you can make your own towns and npcs.

unsure of a truly fitting name but it’d be the designated home space for Silas in AO, could be something simple like Storm’s Eye

it’d be a sky island you can get up to with a geyser underneath it, which becomes more homely as you progress through the story (the character rests there).

yes it would have decorated interiors

it’s a bit hard to describe how it’d look so i’ll just show an image of minecraft :sob:

Andalusia
Formerly known as the Seville Kingdom

While this is already likely going to be added (likely entirely differently), I’d adore to see it sooner rather than later and I do have ideas on it. Located in and balanced around the Aegean Sea.

The main island of Andalusia is slightly larger than Ravenna taken without the Shining Plains, however this is made up for by four decently sized islands that surround Andalusia. The terrain is mostly flat, with only one of the five islands having any decently sized hills. Andalusia itself is a ruined city, with many ruined buildings that have been overgrown by nature. The buildings that are left intact are in the style of Spanish Baroque (I believe that was what it was called?). Ruined gardens are dotted amongst the island, their flowers having spread far beyond where they were initially kept as the city returned to nature.

Many corpses can be found scattered across the island, all of long-dead citizens who were not able to escape the destruction. Near the center of the island is the ruins of palace (inspired by the Palacio de San Telmo?) with many gaping holes blown into it. The interior is an utter mess, carpets torn apart and tattered banners resting on the floor, as if strong winds had blown through. A unique sword can be found next to one of the many corpses (more details below).

Within the entire island, only one quest-giving NPC exists (though a few other survivors can be found, usually in intact buildings). Found in a home nestled between two ruined buildings, is a noble by the name of Emilia. Despite her supposed age, she appears oddly youthful. Her home, like many others, has been overgrown, however she doesn’t seem to mind. A high concentration of flowers have bloomed inside due to her own care of them. Upon the first interaction with the player, she will have some generic dialogue referencing how long it has been since she has seen anyone. If the player interacts a second time, they will be offered a quest (this quest will not appear as a marker or on the map until accepted).

Emilia has sensed that soon enough, a group of mercenaries will come to loot the island of whatever remains. Obviously, she wants you to stop them. Immediately upon accepting this quest, two Galleons full of decent leveled (360 at the highest, 180 at the lowest) enemies (client sided) will spawn 5000~ studs away from the island and will directly sail to the island. The player can choose to intercept them at sea or await their arrival.

If the player attacks them at Sea, they immediately fire back and begin combat. They can be boarded similar to merchant ships, where the player can then interact with their captain. The mercenaries will offer to leave, on the condition that the player pays a hefty sum of drachma to compensate for their failed job. If the player attacks them after boarding them, it plays out the same as usual.

If the mercenaries arrive to the island, they will immediately become hostile the moment the player approaches them. Regardless of the outcome, returning to Emilia will grant the player a reward dependent on their build in addition to experience and a sum of drachma (1/2 of what the mercs cost).

Weapon builds get a unique arcanium rapier (low enough reqs to be used by weapon focused hybrids) with a powerful speed affinity (at the cost of size) and that inflicts a slightly weaker version of Convulsed (5% less total damage?). It comes with an Onyx gem socketed, though this can be switched out.
Strength builds get a random technique scroll of the highest tier implemented.
Mages are given a Hecate Shard if they lack a lost magic - if they have one, they are given a spell scroll.
Spirit builds are given a relic blessed by Apollo with relatively neutral affinities (favoring size) that inflicts both blinding and burning.

Two unique items can be found throughout the island - one set of armor and one weapon.

On the corpse of a dead soldier within the palace lies a large montante with multiple jewels socketed into it. While lacking a unique skill, each hit inflicts both Severe Bleeding and bruised due to the weight of the weapon. Not classed as a strength weapon, despite its size.

In the streets of the city, in a decently sized crater, can be found the body of a former member of the royal guard. While the armor is cracked and the chestplate is entirely caved in, it can be taken from the body. Doing so will give the player the Seville Guard set, which is at that state ruined. It must be taken to a blacksmith to be restored, unlike other items which the player can restore themselves. Upon restoration, it gives Speed, Power, and Regeneration and can be upgraded from level 350 to level 600.

All just ideas. Forgive my lack of knowledge of spanish architecture.

As for entirely original islands… an empty wilderness island somewhere near the edge of the Dark Sea could be nice. Nothing in it other than some Dark Sea animals (mutated due to prolonged exposure to heightened amounts of magic energy). The nature of the island itself is rather dead, with the plants having to either mutate to survive or die from magic pollution.

Hm… maybe an island that collects fighting style mentors as you complete their quests? Plus a bunch of Reputation-Neutral NPCs to get Mastery of fighting styles. I feel like that’d be neat for Strength users.

evil isle

A large boat (about the size of Mount otyhs) crashed into a huge forest in the darksea (i0-i3) with multiple lv 50+x(minimum dragon lv of range) to 150+x Dargons in the forest in the boat there are wandering alentans lv 200s and in the centre of boat in a massive hollow that goes down to sea floor within sits a sleeping lv 250/325/450/550 dragon that once awoken will fight you and summons random darksea animals and npcs(it’s level or lower) to help it once killed every mob in the island will head to the location. (once killed there is a 15%/20%/40%/100%chance of it spawning a hecate essence)

I want this being near the dark sea or very isolated from any other island, a single island with a single coconut tree being far away from civilization just because I think it’s funny when you discovered it

mimhere island

The title said you can add any island you want not add already existing islands

would be cool for there to be another haunted island but with actively hostile spirits
like trapping you inside an infinite isolated space and temporarily turning the genre from action into horror thatd be fun or a ghost giving you unique hallucinations related to the island’s past
i dont feel creative today so idk how itd be implemented with ao’s world

Butt island

It’s just two big dirt spheres

Sailor’s lodge 2

We have that.

It’s called Mango Isle.

this island i made back when i was 14

redleaf, can you guess why i chose this name

You were young and dumb, those leaves are obviously yellow

are you color stupid or are you fixated to a single color in your screen
look around and you’ll see the trees and the ground

Quite the red tree

is that how you look around

We’re AO fans, hyperfixating on a single thing is our special power

Mimhere Island.

At a 1/10000 chance to spawn.

And Martin lives there.
