You have a little bit of "putty glue", what do you do with it?

not going to go too indepth here

you have a little bit of putty glue. it is;

  • flexable. you can like mold it around things
  • waterproof
  • when out of its packet, it hardens in 30 minutes
  • fairly easy to take off again. ofc wont be sticky anymore tho
  • somewhat grippable

what do you do with this glue? be creative. remember you dont have much (5 grams)
(serious replies (may or may not be for something school related (i need ideas (help (waaaa (:sob:))))))

You seal the holes on the side of your laptop

Mario points at a sign saying NO by EricSonic18 on DeviantArt

analyze the material and figure out how to reproduce it then sell it to the world since this is probably useful

go nuts

i dunno what this means because sweet murica but anyways i would try and find literally any appliance i can and try and clog it with this based on any vulnerabilities i can find. like for example just covering up air vents for said applicances as Ultimate suggested

0.17637 ounces

i still do not know how much that is

i don’t even know the size of ounces either

Basically, 4-5 lengths of thin chewing gum on top of each other
That’s its approximate size

if there’s one thing my brain can’t do then it’s to visualize measurements or try and imagine comparisons like that

but thanks for trying

Chew it.

consume.

Roughly 1/16th of a pound. Literally just so light it might as well not weigh anything at all. Comparable to literally, a teaspoon of water.

did the math too. 5 grams is 0.005 kilograms (crazy). 1 kilogram of water is 1 liter of water. So 0.005 liters of water is 0.005 grams of water. The US teaspoon and 0.005 liters happen to be just about the same (1% difference, wow) so that’s a nice little rough estimate.

Do note if you try to get a teaspoon of water at home for this. You’ll be fighting against leverage so the teaspoon, if you’re holding it by the handle, of water will feel heavier than it should. If you want a more accurate feeling then hold it from actually under the “spoon” portion of the teaspoon and not the handle thing. Doubt it’ll be much but idk I haven’t tried this out, just something to keep in mind ig idfk

Could use it to hold together some paper creation or as a weight to balance something or shift the center of mass.
Could use it to release a catapult or some launcher if some elastics/springs pull on it until it releases the projectile/arm.

I say stuff it down your teachers throat and threaten them to give you an A

fix the few dents i have on my desk
its probably enough so that i can fix some of the dents
