Just to add on to this I donāt see whatās stopping him from just creating a shroud of light energy around him whenever heās above deck to prevent the rain from hitting him. We already kinda have precedent for this stuff with Kraken, Ramses, & Mariaās magic shrouds. Plus curses are way more energy efficient than magic so heād probably be able to keep it up for a decent while

Armor couldāve stopped that injury Iām sure, but nah; ditch the chestplate and the rest of the armor that couldāve been involved. Leave that joint between the arm and shoulder exposed so you can get an arm made up of light later.
