ehhh it’s not bad, like savage said it’s a lot more tame than other places. I suppose that’ll change with AO’s release though. I think the whole like “troll” thing and over-reacting and shit can be applied to both sides. There’s been an influx of people who’ve been whining recently about how badly trolls are oppressed or something. Pretty funny imo but ah well.
There are certain people I’d much rather ignore, but for the most part this place is comprised of cool and awesome people

true, like others have said before me its a good idea to start posting in the marketplace after youve learnt some of the values so you dont end up getting ripped off or sending horrible trades.
only if its in Game Discussion > Trading Discussion cuz otherwise i would want to get that nice profit myself

from a forumer’s perspective it’s chill and easier to have a coherent convo than vetcord. the people are also relatively friendly, even the bad apples that are actually part of the community don’t immediately wash over me with dread and irritation and frankly nobody’s ever really done that here and was legit part of the community
as a mod it feels like i’m babysitting y’all half the time and can be a bit tiring/irritating but it’s nothing that really sets me off. i got my own opinions on people within the community now but i try not to let my biases cloud my vision. still, and it doesn’t matter who, there are some things i’ll never tolerate here

Vetex Discord sucks quite a fair bit, to me at least. People don’t like Suncry and they complain a lot about the state of the game.
From what you’re saying it’s like modding a large Discord community.

I mean, the forums is just a large Discord community but it’s heaps more organised. I can see the differences.
I’ve moderated a large community with like 3 active moderators. That sucked.
I can’t imagine the forums would be too much harder though? The forums aren’t a bunch of 7yr olds running umuck.

Vetcord lacks in the “actual conversation” standpoint; it’s all just coarse messages and such for me, which renders the forums to a more cozy variant of Vetcord, minus the toxic
