Beam clashing is already a thing. When we will be able to use multiple beams (level 105) then the players will still clash but it will be based on clash rates

Already a thing

I’m not sure if this is too big thinking, but what if there will be npc events. Or even perhaps the additions of magics, which would throw everything known about the meta out the window. I personally think that a lot of items in the adjustments tabs on trello will be filled in, and then some things that will shake up the community, some curve balls that no one will see coming.

i was thinking you should get ganked by bandits if you are a good rep and go into deep forest, like they spawn around you in a circle like mc does, kind of like a trap maybe idk

Picture mode disables Shift Magic Charge
I’ve said it before and i’ll say it again

wheres map enlargement. u poopin?
also map evolving over time would be cringe and stupid for new players. imagine joining and the story of the game is already complete. legit dumb

  • Most of this doesn’t make sense to do based on what TGR is but can’t tell why without revealing what its going to be
  • Dodging isn’t being added til higher levels when projectiles have more AoE, if it was added right now then placed explosion meta would be even worse
  • I’m not switching game engines (duh)
  • Roblox terrain is ugly and low effort, also very glitchy with this style of combat and you would end up clipping through it and falling through the world a lot
  • What needs to be updated in the tutorial? If you could actually give a list I would appreciate it
  • Coding my own AI isn’t worth it at all, current AI is good enough as is
  • Dark reps raiding towns is something I was saving for higher level quests/events, and also won’t fit with what TGR is going to be
  • Less chests would just make the game even more grindy
  • Making NPCs actually repair destroyed structures is a waste of development time, lots of effort and animation just for players to see it and be like “oh thats cool”
  • Optimizations already a planned thing on TGR as stated multiple times and on the trello
  • Saying “Do this planned update now” isn’t actually suggesting anything lol
  • Removing RNG for rare items is stupid, RNG is the ONLY way you can guarantee something’s rarity. Having an extremely difficult or long task in order to obtain a rare thing just means that eventually everyone has it
  • All of the ideas in the image above are a waste of development time that could be better spent on features like fighting styles, higher level caps, lost spells, etc.

I can literally feel the amount of “dev that isn’t listening to suggestions” energy

Make like a google doc or youtube video or something, and link it in the game description page. Because at some point, if not already; the tutorial is gonna get too long and people will give up on the game before they even start it.

People probs won’t look at it. I think the current one is good enough for starters

Did you not read my points are you just replying to hate for no reason

All of the responses I provided were logical, and I add good suggestions to the game, but really “move to a different game engine”? Yeah my bad for not listening to that one, I’ll get right onto learning unity see you guys in 6 years… If you really think I don’t listen to the community you must be new here dude

go crazy go stupid

Honestly, Pedro’s ideas are really out there. Especially for both Vetex’s dev style, and how god damn early we are into WoM’s mehanical setup.
Vetex works on a highly gameplay-based style of development, which Roblox massively supports. It isn’t about making things pretty, that just wastes time. It’s about game feel and mechanics. In turn, this is actually a great way to build a game in (an honestly very crappy and limited engine) Roblox, as it makes it feel less like a Roblox game, and more like a standard, real product.
And again, we’re still so damn early into WoM, half the mechanics don’t exist yet. Why add useless shit onto already fine stuff that slows the actual gameplay?

I do very partially agree with the AI recoding, but it’s only for two minor changes.
Bow bandits and I believe even Dark Wizards (and their good rep counterparts) are kinda busted with the immediate attack upon being hit thing. If enemies use bows or spells, maybe nerf the chance of immediate attack/remove it for them?
Second, the high jump spamming. It is insanely annoying, and just causes fights to drag on without adding any actual difficulty or aiming skill. I have no issue with it heightening difficulty, but such difficulty should present a real challenge, and not just aggravate a player without adding any risk or danger on top of it.

Tbh i think the game looks fire. Especially when compare to your standard Roblox game, the building and animations are all well refined and thought out.
To me, most other Roblox games look like hot garbage in terms of attack animation especially and sometimes their building, but WoM is not a mess so I consider it real good.

Here is a list of things that should be updated in the tutorial

Things to add/update

  • Tell the player about the Magic Council, and how killing and/or destroying structures can get you fines or turn you into a criminal.
  • Fix the bug where you can get fines while you’re doing the tutorial
  • Credit it to @SavageWind for this one:
  • Have the tutorial teach them the value of items?
  • The tutorial
  • Tell the player more about the message inbox like trades, messages, fines, and the storyline
    I can’t think of much more–I think I saw a longer list from @Pedro but I can’t remember.

@Vetex, since you code n stuff, does it take a lot of math to code games and everything? I mean, I want to program/develop games in the future, so I just want to ask someone who actually codes them. What kind of math? Like Algebra?
