Never get close to a wind captain, even if you’re good at blocking, even if you have a full tank build, and even if you’re a god with a sword.
Never get close to a wind captain. I’ve tried. These captains sometimes just flew over to me only to 20 blast spam me into a wall
do they even need walls? once you get hit by their barrage you basically can’t get out, they can just blast you into the air and chain knockbacks, or at least they could before the beam update. I’ve been juggled above summerhold before, no bueno.
naw you can get out if you aren’t stuck on a wall, high jumping actually has a chance to work in this case, + you can slightly move around to confuse their aim
if you’re already airborne tho, once they hit you, you just get chain knockbacked
yeah but you I can sometimes get out anyway, rarely though.

Who needs button mashing when you can max your agility and hightail outta there?
Plus there’s no better way to make your opponent more ticked off at you, especially if they invested all of their stats on power and defense meaning they can’t keep up…

honestly my tip if the enemy isnt attacking first is using a throwable, like knife throw or spear throw so they think you’re actually starting to make a hit, so 50% of the time they’ll most likely be using their spell
