the old list also said it was explosive, so it’s probably still true
It’s explosive, it’s just blue.
It even has Knockback, so it’s more of a Shockwave/Wind evolution.
Assuming Shockwave has knockback.
I can imagine that they had no idea what to call this Curse that their king got, then he caused an apocalypse, then they had a name for it.
no, the curse was made and named after apocalypse magic over 1000 years ago, it already had a name
I find it honestly hard to believe that all that time ago there was enough people with each lost and ancient magic to have a curse made for, like, all of them except Healing.
Cursebeard would have had to make sure that Prometheus made all the magics, and he couldn’t do that for magics that either weren’t invented or weren’t possibly known.
Nowadays you have like five characters who use lost or ancient magics and are still canon, and supposedly Magic has advanced since back then.
prometheus was a god with hecate’s domain over magic, he probably just knew every magic that people had made by then
He could’ve just been like “nope, that’s all of them. Apocalypse? That’s not a magic!”
Cursebeard was holding him hostage
Cursebeard wouldn’t know every magic!!!
yes he would, he’s the goat
, though actually merlin with his nirvana curse might’ve been able to help
who tf is merlin, wtf is a nirvana curse-
He was the strongest mage in existence at the time and probably did his research before forcing Prometheus to create a curse for every magic
or Prometheus actually didn’t but the curseless magics died out due to obscurity
merlin is merlin, like the merlin, and the nirvana curse was the first curse made which granted extreme knowledge and mastery over magic
I mean how many are there like somewhere between 60 and 100? In the grand scheme of things that’s not that many. Plus there’s also the fact that their descendants don’t just automatically get the losts or ancients of their ancestors. They still did advance though, at least in the war seas. Things that used to be considered losts have now been incorporated into the base magics and people are born with them pretty often. The same process has even started with the other lost magics as people are very rarely born with those as well. It seems like the advancement is more of a ground up process where the average level of mages is being brought up from the bottom over time.
Sounds made up.
nuh uh, i’ve never lied in my life
Okay but there’s still like 6 Losts that were around at that time, and are still attached to canon characters.
I’m a little confused on what you’re trying to say here
How can there have been what seems to be at least 40 elemental curses if there had to have been, like, estimated 16ish people who had losts that didn’t become lesser-lost magics.
Where are you getting this number from?
