it’s been a long time working on this project, and i feel like this piece would be a nice way to look back on the five years since the release of the first chapters of the webcomic, i’ve said my piece at the end of this episode, but i feel like there’s a few things i want to say here, too
from being a work to give a personal touch on the unfinished story way back then with AA breaking, to something people check out between updates of its successor AO and readers exclusively on WEBTOON, i’m glad to be still along for the ride. massive thanks of course are due to vetex and tech, the ones who gave me the go-ahead to go with this webcomic project, developing AO continues to be a huge undertaking and i hope it’s still something you appreciate after all this time if you ever get to read this! this project taught me the value in taking breaks, and i hope it’s taught you to take things easy too
and of course, the biggest ups to all the readers, too! i hope what i make and what all artists in this community make continue to be enjoyable works to check out between updates, and as always, thank you for checking it out!
now i need to rest (gonna crash [hit the sack {sleep}])

also cool little detail I noticed from the high res preview on patreon: I think present Juniper still has the melted eyelids scars from her battle with Angel
I love that it’s ON SIGHT between Juniper and Durzacheron, she wasted NO time trying to give him the left right goodnight combo. even Apotheosis wanted in on the fun
this is such a good explanation for why Durzacheron doesn’t just waste Juniper right now. sure she could probably put up a good fight but considering he’s barely tried here I doubt he’d come close to losing at the moment
I’m worried for Angel though cause not only does she have some cracked magics (Life Magic AND Promethean Flare, two Ancient Magics in AO terms) but her minds are fully “ripe” so Durzacheron will have no reservations trying to take her them, ESPECIALLY Promethean Flare
I know part of it is artstyle change/evolution (also her new threads) but wow it really looks like Coconut has grown up. also her bonding with Tempest is too precious
