Well after 100+ structures looted you kinda learn where the loot is
i only looted 20 
besides i get distracted by sharkrepel potions and all that shit (i play fire mage)
What I do is get on the weapon attachments to lure up the sharks in a diving spot, then dive with a max swimming set and a waterbreathing potion. Once I get to the bottom, I use a revealing potion. Pick up and put down sealed chests to send them to the surface, and loot everything else. Once I am done, swim up and get as many of the sealed chests as I can before they despawn.
Hear me out: Clearsight potions should reduce the deep sea blindness.

i apologize deeply for not doing one of the most mind numbing activities in the game 5000 times to memorize everything

sometimes it does, sometimes not. for instance i used it once to see sharks chasing me as i went down, but i found that it never detects the sharks for whatever reason
Listen for the sounds
…i know…but revealing should reveal the sharks anyway when it doesnt

Marketplace will come well into play for this one. Probably wouldnt be too hard to get one pawned off for a decent price as long as it isnt viable for armor stats, even if it is obtained at a lesser rate.

tbh marketplace should have an option for making “orders” e.g. you request an item in exchange for galleons or a different item
the way it would work iirc will just be you put up an item with a request of galleons or another item

Hopefully when the diving bell is added, you can put sealed chests inside it, so that you can take multiple up at a time

Well, it sure is better now, but it’s a shame that there’s no way to see anything (cough cough, swimming into jellyfish stingers when your entire screen is black isn’t any fun).
I equipped a lantern and I still can’t see any better (and it’s even worse whenever the sun shows up and darkens my screen), it’d be nice to have gear explicitly made to make abyss diving a tad easier (like a diving helmet or something)
I use revealing potions too, this time though, they didn’t work (but I still wanted to visit this 389m deep abyss).
Also gotta remind ourselves that they still don’t address the problem of the video game not videoing.

This one had 39 chests, such a shame that I had ran out of revealing potions.
this is why i use revealing 1 potions. takes only 1 growth sap so if they get bugged its not that bad to replace them. still very annoying though
also this thread is outdated. since then abyss diving was very buffed and doesnt suck as much anymore
