Proposal

Change revealing potions to tick somewhat like sonar.
Every 15 seconds, the game will tick the revealing potion, updating it to reveal any enemies/players in the radius. It will also tick once when it is drank. In addition, when an enemy/shark is killed or a chest is opened, its marker will immediately be removed.
Furthermore, sealed chests should be slightly darker to differentiate them from normal chests.
All markers would instantly be removed when the duration of the effect runs out, fixing scenarios where sealed chest markers will just stay despite the revealing potion being long over.


Details/background on your proposal

As it stands, revealing potions are just kind of bad. When you try to drink them above-surface to prepare for a diving point, they don’t reveal any of the chests. When they do actually work, they don’t remove chest markers, making it a pain to try and find all the chests. If the color of sealed chests was also changed, it would also help differentiation in normal diving spots.

Reason to add/change

Pros:
-Revealing potions become useful
-Helps with diving spots being a pain to do
Cons:
-Revealing potions can no longer be used to locate and return to a specific area

Yes please. Good suggestion, through and through. And pulsar and snare already have a pulse-like hitbox, so it’s a matter of scaling up
