Ambra Gladious - A Knight that had recently moved from Ravenna to the kingdom of Sameria, She wields a Ravenna Sword, A Bronze Musket, and a pendant imbued with Vitality, a gift from her father who has now passed, she keeps it hidden just under her frozen steel armor, just a small surprise for anyone who did fight her when they get hit with a spirit blast to the face
She originally went there to train against some more formidable opponents, to improve her skills in weaponry and her Spirit energy, though now with the dark sea’s expansion, and the wave of Atlanteans that have rushed against the border, mainly coming from where her home had been, was not anticipated.
On the bright side? More battle experience on a wider array of monstrous foes, yet, she had another question, why were so many of these Atlanteans coming from the bronze Sea? Can’t they also come from the other direction from the west? A complete flank and they don’t take it. Why did so many of them go to the bronze sea first? She just doesn’t get why
“… If they focused all their attention to the north, than moved their south it must mean they have some form of intelligence and planning, but they are all acting independent from each other” Ambra was pondering to herself “Ugh, i don’t understand how it looks planned but they are acting at random like mindless beasts when they are at the front lines, how do they do this? are they trying to trick us by making us think they are dumb?”
“Just shut up” Giles, her Rival spoke, a Savant with a poor choice in magic, Shadow and Light ain’t mixing all that well “Only reason we are not fighting eachother is due to this whole Atlantean invasion, i do not need your rambling to tempt my blade and magic”
“Oh i’m so sorrrrrry that you do not care what is causing this mess” retorted Ambra “You can always walk out of this room and not sit here next to me”
“If you get infected by one of those hideous beasts i want to be able to kill you myself oh miss Ambra, you hunted me down multiple times and expect me to forget, you are stuck with me bitch”
Ambra stood up “If it was not for this stupid nonsensical invasion i would hunt you down again”
“You are a criminal”
“and you expected me to not go after your bounty”
“There were several others to go after, yet you chose me specifically, oh course I’m going to hold a grudge”
“Just stop being a crook and i won’t have a reason to go after you, just fucking-”
“OH SHUT IT-”
The door burst open, one of the Samerian soldiers “Quiet you 2, some of the wounded are recovering still and the current front line is about ready to collapse, we are being called in to give them some time to recover their energy, there is just no end to those Atlanteans so we have to keep shifting in before our front lines collapse, as is we are barely holding them back”
“Not to mention our curse users seem useless right now with whatever dark hell has befallen upon us making them really susceptible to the smallest of wounds, we do not need any in fighting right now”
Then they turned and left, heading off the the front lines themself
The 2 rivals glared at each other before walking out behind the Soldier
“Whatever” Giles spoke out
Ambra just rolled her eyes as she reached for her bronze musket, the Atlanteans usually like coming in real close, gonna shoot em at least a few times before she gets to start slashing “Lets just get to work Giles, we can argue more after this next shift”
“Yeah yeah, i know, its the new norm, bla bla bla, Time to get back to killing those freaks, and you don’t ramble on and on while out there, much less annoying than when we have actual free time”
“You chose to subject yourself to my rambling when you first decided to start following me, so fuck off”
“Making sure you are not turning into one of them Ambra, like i already said, i want to kill you myself, I’m not letting some other random guard or monster get in the way of that”
“Suppose i can say the same for you Giles, you bastard, you really have been ticking me off, just a little itty bitty bit since you decided to start following me around”
By then, they had both left the house where they had been staying
“Then you should understand why i will be the only one that gets to kill you”
“Ugh, lets just get to the front now, the current group is almost at their breaking point” she then begins to dash forwards, increasing her speed
Giles rolled his eyes as he to began to dash ahead, following close behind “Right, yada yada ya, lets just get on with it, I’m losing track of how long this invasion has been going on for”
Ambra sighs as she reaches a ledge that looks down only a short distance to the fight “Time for yall to have a break” she aims and imbues her musket with spirit energy before firing.
At the same time Giles lept over the edge to get into the fray, using his 2 magics and Greatsword “Time to kill some freaks”
