This was one of my only good suggestions. Unfortunately, I posted it almost immediately after the “no island suggestions” rule was implemented.
Anyways, enjoy!

Very nice
really foggy island, in the middle there’s an npc that tells you lore n shit and then all of a sudden the screen goes black and you wake up on your ship to find that the island is gone
Turtle island
magius island but its actually a continent
Mimhere Island.
Floating island.
Island that float on water and move all over the current sea.
The Kove
A well fortified pirate city that was built after a fleet of pirate ships were flung to the island
It has stone walls, houses similar to Ironport, lots of npcs to talk to and give quests, multiple repaired shipwrecks on the hilly part of the island used as observation points. The hill on which they are found has some scaffolding and a hugr skull engraved into the cliff with some torches as an intimidation factor
Ankhairo Island
Based off Egypt, this island has pyramids, a temple to the sun god (more in depth later) and a bustling, packed city named Ankhairo (Ankh + Cairo)
The Temple to The Sun God Helios
It is an ancient temple, built in the time before magic to burn lamina for Helios. (Really Prometheus in disguise
This is where the ancient people that lived there would burn lamina to pay tribute and where the priests gained power and a type of magic called Sol magic (A primitive and unrefined form of sun magic).
People burned aurem for prometheus tho right?
Yes, they burned the funny red crystals for their big fire god
Due to high magic concentration on the islands, you are constantly at maximum mana but take 4 damage every second, There are also very powerful bosses that are just humans mutated by magic.
Fishing there also provides unique fish exclusive to the island and there is a 1/400 chance shield that spawns there
There is a merchant that also sells you “anti-mana necklaces” which always set your mana to 0 but you don’t take damage from the island anymore.
To add to it:
Chests have a 1.9x spawn rate
All amulets DO NOT WORK on the islands
The enemies are all like level 200-300 and don’t look human
Magic council soldiers can’t spawn on their making it a haven for criminals
Ruins appear more often
The soil is a green-yellow tint
The grass is light pink and it glows at night
Two bosses spawn on that island, Silvenchis the harvester and Mirror (a mirror)
Silvenches throws A mix of either light or dark magic at you, he has 20k HP
Mirror starts off as a mirror with 10k HP, every time you hit it, it reflects your attack back at you but still takes damage, Once killed it will become “enraged” and turn into a mutated, pink, neon, version of the last person who killed in on that server, if nobody has killed it yet, it turns into a mutated version of Theos, the war Pheonix that shoots the same magic with that the same as either person who killed it last time did or a weakened Pheonix magic blast, it has 26k HP
Basically an illusion island. It’s an island that has a physical plane of existence that you can walk on. However, half of the things are real and half are an illusion. For example, a normal lake could end up actually being a lava pit or it could end up being an invisible mountain.
Spooky
Also that sounds awful exploring
Oh no, not the mirror!!!
That’s the whole point.
But armor with the warding statistic would help reduce the illusions. Like maybe you could see outlines and certain illusions would disappear. You can probably use full warding armor (legit only stat is warding and only warding) for a full clear.
And insanity makes it worse
Yes, also maybe add some safe-spots (safe-spots could be small towns with a white glow around them).
Lemme guess the people are also illusions?
