[I] Some Helpful Servers to Join
Some Helpful Servers to Join
Join the Vetex’s Games Discord Server!
- Vetex Games server – it’s required to join this for trading, news and community
- Join or host luck parties and epicenter parties. All luck parties here are free and come with other potion parties too
- Join or Host Luck V, Epicenter, Charting Parties and more. Anyone can host or join
- Ship and Armor builds
- Services and helping other players for rewards
[II] Preparation
What You’ll Need
- Brewing and Jewelcrafting skill of level 7 or higher
- If you can’t do that, you can ask other players to brew and craft stuff for you
- Max level
- A Brig ship
[III] Selling Reagents and Gems
You can make a ton of drachma by selling these in bulk on the marketplace
1 - Clearstone
- Go to the caves of Mount Orthys in the Nimbus Sea and destroy the spikes for clearstone
- Sell each item for slightly below the lowest price on the auction house
2 - Deckhand Merchant
Make sure you’re in a party for this.
- Get a deckhand and make them a Merchant
- Sail your ship to the north end of the Pelion Rift. Place a camp marker on the stone
- Sail your ship towards the Dark Sea and reset character
- Dock your ship and buy a bunch of growth sap, notebooks, and other valuable stuff from your merchant deckhand
- Repeat steps 3 and 4 until you get enough
- Sell each item for slightly below the lowest price on the auction house
3 - Fleets
You can get most of these items by setting up a fleet with the Harvesting tasak
If people aren’t buying what you’re selling, try lowering the price.
4 - Clan Reagent Pot Farming
Join a clan with a clan base that has reagent pots and put good reagents in there to grow and sell
- Reagents that are growable in a Reagent Pot have a checkmark in the “Growable?” column.
- Reagents in Reagent Pots will be automatically harvested by farmer castaways that are within range of the pot.
- The reagents that are growable are all organic, things like flowers and plants, but not all organic reagents can be grown in Reagent Pots.
[IV] Fleets
Fleets
Finish the Edward Kenton fleet quest first.
Fleets generate lots of passive income (90k+ drachma every 20 minutes when perfected). When you have nothing to do, growing your fleet is 100% a great option.
Deckhands
You’ll either need to get all of your deckhands to dedicated loyalty, or:
- get 1 deckhand to dedicated loyalty
- make them a fleet captain
- find a new deckhand with high level gear (like knight)
- get them to dedicated loyalty
- make them fleet captain
- repeat
this way you won’t need to level up a new set of deckhands after fleets since you need a good brig for sea combat
- To get deckhands to dedicated loyalty, simply look at what they are wearing and gift them those accessories and clothes over and over again
- Do NOT dismiss a fleet ship if your ship doesn’t have enough space for another member, the deckhand will be voided.
Choosing Ships
- Sink every ship you see in the Nimbus Sea to increase your follower count
- Don’t add stuff like sailboats to your fleet, since they’re expensive to maintain for their low profit
- I recommend adding only ketches or brigs. Try to sink mainly brigs, but don’t be too picky to the point you have inactive followers!
- When assigning deckhands, do it in order of low to high priority
Configuring the Fleet
note: villains have the plunder fleet task while heros have patrol
Your deckhand will send you messages about where you should go to configure the fleet.
- Set your fleet to Minimize Risk, so it reinvests into itself and keeps itself stable.
- Put 2 ships on the Recover task and 2 on any other tasks
fleet tasks
these aren’t all the fleet tasks you can use, im just giving some extra information on them
Trading: generates the most drachma
Harvesting: brings you a lot of reagents and catalysts which can make you hella rich when selling stuff
- Conquest: can bring you dark sealed chests which can get you Lost spells and techniques when opened with Luck V
- many consider conquest to be gutted but dark sea reagents can sell for a good amount too
a good setup is 2 recover 1 trading 1 conquest
- Try to spread your drachma across multiple task upgrades
[V] Luck V Diving + Leveling Up Charting
Tip: Do this while your fleet is working
Potions to Use While Diving
Know that you can only use 2 potions at once. However, if you have brewing level 8 then you can have 4 potion effects at once which is lowk life-changing
Sharkrepel from Shark Fins
This prevents sharks from attacking you and can be useful if you want to be fast and do treasure charts. If you’re not doing treasure charts, you can ignore this, as potion effects persist when you die and you’ll respawn right at your Brig anyways.
Water Breathing Potion from Auric Seaweed
- If you don’t have auric seaweed, buy it (recommended) or dive for it
Revealing Potion from Growth Sap (Required)
- You can get growth sap by just breaking a bunch of trees
- If you have a merchant deckhand, they likely sell this
Luck V Aura Potion
This is made with legendary fish scales + Dark Sea essentia.
-
This can SIGNIFICANTLY increase your profit. If you don’t have your own potion, you can join a luck party instead (which is usually free) or farm Legendary scales from Harvesting fleet task
-
If you want to brew luck putions yourself, you can exponentially increase the number of potions you have by buying it for 100k from the auction house and selling stuff you get from diving → repeat
-
Make sure it’s brewed in a gold cauldron (found in Dark Sea)
Getting the Sea Diving Gear
Try to get 100% waterbreathing and as much swim speed as possible
- Craft musgravites while having jewelcrafting level 6 to get the most % possible
- Theurgist and Gilded items have 3 slots so take advantage of that
If you can’t get the jewel amulet that’s fine, the waterbreathing and swim speed are the most important part
Gilded armor is better than theurgist
Execution
- Equip your diving gear
- Join a luck party or make your own Luck V Aura potion
- Consume the water breathing potion, then the revealing potion
- Dive into sea structures. The deeper you go, the better items you’ll find
- Collect seaweed as you dive
- Be mindful of stamina and air management. Remember that swimming back up also needs stamina
- Sell any Sunkens, acrimonies and any other valuables you find in the Vetex discord server or at the auction house npc
Leveling your Charting
You should have a ton of treasure charts after diving. Only do the charts when your Luck runs out, you want as many charts as possible. The goal is to level up charting and open lots of chests
- Make a dedicated slot in your Pouch for your treasure charts. The treasure chart with the closest location will always be there
- Get a Fortune Platinum Shovel and a Marking/Goldsight Gold Shovel
- Use the “Explorer’s Intuition” feature if you have it on the map
- Do the legendary and Mythic charts last
Lost Charts
You need max level charting to do this.
Getting Charts
Luck V Diving Method
- same as the Luck V Diving scroll, except you dive for 1 hour
Dark Sea Method
This is for more experienced players and you’ll need a movement speed build for this (preferably with gilded armor).
When you reach charting level 10, I recommend you go to dark sea range 4-5 for experienced players (aka insanity 3-4)
- dark sea normal chests (not sealed chests) are always high tier so you’ll get a lot more Lost treasure charts
- if you run into the omen: https://youtu.be/Cyh5n-asCnI?si=HMwoaX_wxhqH9zVv
Basically find dark sea islands, drink a revealing potion and open every normal chest you see. Ignore everything else
Doing Charts to get Lost Charts
- You do not get Lost Charts from any normal chest, only chests from treasure charts.
Lost Charts are obtained from completing other treasure charts. The chances of getting a lost chart is 5-20%, increasing with the rarity of the chart you completed. Do Legendary charts first to try to get Mythical, and then do those Mythical charts. Keep repeating this process until you get a lost chart.
- Use fortune shovel and then immediately use goldsight shovel in the same area in every area you dig. When you find the treasure, only use the fortune shovel to dig it. This is because the fortune shovel greatly increases your chances of getting better loot
[VI] Fort Raiding and Boss Hunting
to-do: update this section, there’s a LOT more to add
- In the server Sunfish Village (see “helpful servers to join” scroll) you can find some raids and hunts
omen hunts
- almost everything you need to know about Omen hunting: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Cyh5n-asCnI&t=50s
*Try to hunt Omen with friends
[VII] Tips and Mastery
Tips and Mastery
- If you can’t find ships to sink, simply server hop
- Legendary chests guarantee 90k drachma + an acrimony
Trading Tips
-
It’s a good idea to create a throwaway Discord server just for yourself to put trading ideas, post styles, plans, etc.
-
Always let people offer first unless you’re offering for an item they have. If you’re offering for an item they have, ask them specifically what they want for it to lower your chances of overpaying
-
Watch the prices on the Discord marketplace channel and don’t rely on a value list. This is how I knew the Acrimony dropped from 120k to 30k in just a week
-
Take inspiration from what rich traders are posting on the marketplace. Copy their post style (right-click message → copy text), then improve it and use it with your own items that you’re trading
-
Make sure your post is easy to read and isn’t too specific
-
Compete with other traders
Other Tips
- Try to do the daily quests and log in every day
[VIII] The Full Strat
These methods can be synergized with others to make even more profit. This is what I call Stringing
Here’s my combo:
Claim your clan’s reagent pot island before all of this so you get passive reagents to sell
- conquest on fleet until 500-1000 dark sealed chests
- open all with Luck V
- sea structure diving for treasure charts
- Do treasure charts until you get lost charts
- You want to do the treasure charts when your luck runs out
- Sell/trade your items and PROFIT.
Feel free to experiment with the order and what methods you use
