Anticipation

Vetex is slowly, but surely executing this grand idea full of awesome concepts. We are seeing it play out pretty well, I’m highly anticipating these next updates because the ground work laid out so far has left a lot of potential for the game. I can’t wait to see wt we will see next to come for this game.

wt are you guys hoping to see or anticipating?

Mimhere Island.

more spells would be cool

ye all the new attacks that were added for darksea were pretty epic and some actually have tactical uses can’t wait to see more unique moves come to the game.

Hopefully the 2nd awakening for vitality hybrids won’t be shared with pure builds.

i haven’t thought of this, idk if i rlly get wt u mean either cuz as far as ik very build gets their own awakening

I’m hoping for a way to reset my magic sooner than later.
I want to try new things but I don’t want to need to make 50 billion files and progress each one of them separately.
Doing that would drain my soul and permanently make me burnt out on AO.

Well let me take an example from the class that I main, juggernaut. Juggernaut after awakening gains the passive “Versatile Juggernaut” which lets you use a second style at the cost of a +70 point requirement increase for all skills.

Now let’s take a look at the pure strength class, berserker. Berserker after awakening gains the passive “Berserker’s Skill” which lets you use a second style at the cost of a +90 point requirement increase for all skills.

What I’m trying to get is that vitality hybrids share the awakening with pure classes with the only difference being the lowered requirements. (most likely due to hybrids having far less points invested into strength/magic)

When Nimbus Part 1 is done
  • Do Nimbus Part 2 NOW
  • Building Update is fine

Kinda curious about this, me personally I’d rather have a part 2 since the building update is only really appealing in that it adds new NPC stuff. Structures I feel won’t provide very much, and if they do Vetex will give them the merchant treatment.

I’m certain most people would prefer the 2nd part of the nimbus sea as the building update only really applies to guilds.

There’s also the whole problem that there’s literally like, zero building space on any of the claimable islands except for Harvest

Like, what am I gonna build on Whispering Caverns? A single fucking outhouse to take a dump in?

And also…

None of the current claimable islands really offer much space for building, so unless the nimbus sea claimable islands are comparable in size to harvest if not bigger then I doubt people will mind waiting for the building update.

o i see so i think it would be cool to see imbues in some shape or form then for spirit weapons or just for vitality in general would be cool

Seems most people would rather have a Nimbus Part 2 going off of the 22 votes here. Ideally the building update’s features could be placed under this:

Some bronze sea claimable islands will probably need to be slightly tweaked to provide better building areas. It really just depends on how it’s implemented, but places like Cassia Bay could give us the option to place (or it pre-places) platforms for the player to build on.

Besides that, I’m pretty sure most people want more story since that brings us closer to lost/ancient stuff in terms of levels. Alongside that, we get to know more about the lore and whatnot. I wonder if Vetex has the boss music planned out though

I just want more fighting styles to learn for my warlord clown file  :boxing_glove:

You might be able to lay foundation on top of the water for more building space, kinda like how Redwake is, just a bunch of buildings on wood scaffolding.

Didn’t think about building over water; that makes the most sense and would be the most reasonable option compared to “make every claimable island bigger”

The only thing that I’m worried about is something like symmetry or… basically making things look neat. Like, you have square foundation platforms, but the shape of an island usually isn’t going to be very compatible with rough shapes. Like, imagine in Cassia Bay. You have all these weird-looking rock formations, it’s look pretty ugly having the foundation platform not line up right.

But it might be worth the hassle, because in my mind I’m imagining creating an impenetrable fortress similar to Fort Talos, with cannons that fire at ships trying to capture the island.
