I don’t know how much testers actually know, but I mean it’d definitely fit Morden’s aesthetic so it’s not surprising if that was the case. I know he’s special similarly to the player character as well, but that definitely ain’t saving him from Julian if he don’t got the death curse.
oh no shot he beats julian, i just wanted to confirm everything he has going for him (also i was interested to see if his magic was ever stated by anyone, but as you said idk how much testers know, lore is completely out of their field and id imagine vetex and tech dont just drop random lore facts to them that they never confirm anywhere else)
hed probably be weaker than the player without his curse as well, we dont know what hes been doing offscreen but he seems to have not gotten into many fights since leaving dawn island and he hadnt had any experience using the death curse between when he got it and when he broke the player out of jail, he gets 1 tapped just like the player did

Testers are so often wrong. They say things with confidence just to gaslight us, or they genuinely believe it without having been told by vetex or tech, and are just sharing it as fact when it is not.
I have no doubt that a tester said that, but I do doubt that the tester actually knew for certain. It isn’t impossible, but it isn’t guaranteed by any degree of certainty.
Do you mean like Winterveil wins the war against Ravenna, or the war just never happens in the first place?

Wouldn’t be surprised if he actually does come back in the story line. Revon is still out to get us and I wouldn’t doubt it if Julian is helping him out. Both because Revon probably has authority over him and because Julian probably wants to get back at Morden as well.
what if Julian defeats Morden
He comes and beat us up too and we either lose or get a 2v1 bossfight vs both Calvus and Julian.
