for the animals, probably, but atlanteans were formerly human 
so the effects of eating ones own kind despite the mutations MIGHT not make for the best of times
Its straight up cannibalism, something which is essentially normal for Atlanteans themselves when they even prey on their lesser brethren.

i donāt think golden petals would work, at that point youād need narwhal horns as the bears can be in the far reaches
