Ballistas definitely exist but i don’t think they would be used for anti air since sirens are way too agile, also i don’t think (i hope) flying atlanteans don’t exist.
nonetheless, if anything regarding AA, i think it would be cannons or catapults with shrapnel/grapeshot

eh, fair enough, it’s smth they are used to, the ballista’s could even be made for those specifically while other things are made to deal with the smaller threats that make their way up
Mostly just weird border shenanigans than anything, it isn’t really in the dark sea
It’ll most likely be used for dragons, probably various at a time since dragons can also be agile while flying (mainly diving down to swoop)
considering atlantean ships don’t even appear in insanity 0 but they are showing up in the war seas due to the dark sea expanding, there is a decent chance that Atlanteans from the deeper parts of the dark sea could make their way to us

Eh i think it would be as far as insanity 1, stretching it to 2 maybe, since overall the new insanity 0 is the war seas.
Technically speaking, either the current i0 becomes i1, or it just becomes a larger i0, if i’m not wrong, the war seas become a slightly weaker version of the first range, not being able to infect through the rain or something

Pretty sure the vimir sea is also to the west so Mount Othrys might just not border the dark sea at all
