Do you think the population figures provided in game are accurate? I always like to think pops are 10x bigger and the islandās dimensions as 20-40 times as big. As for distances by sea, maybe 50x

i like to think that ships with warship sails and brisk hull just dont slowly accelerate to top speed
the millisecond those sails are fully down theyāre already at top speed, not even CARING about the direction of the wind

also typed in your name and didnāt find it in creators
well the pop isnāt accurate to what you see but thatās because the islands arenāt large enough (the size of islands is mainly for gameplay purposes, so that they arenāt too boring to traverse, same reason with the seas)
Now the sea in between each island might be a bit larger than what you see in game, maybe x2 or x3? Islands could have a similar scale too.
I feel like 10,000 people is NOT enough to support a large army or navy though
