I don’t think you understand. When the “fog” (which doesn’t even exist in lore btw) “fell,” why would ALL THE ENERGY FROM THE EPICENTER decide “hmm i need to go into the war seas”? That’s not how diffusion (what you’re trying to describe to me) works. Unless you’re saying some event took place with nuked the entire world with more energy, in which case all of humanity would just completely end.

Because rn the reason the dark sea doesn’t occupy the rest of the sea clusters is because it simply doesn’t have the energy to. I thought this au was just about Atlanteans invading the war seas and not the dark sea invading the war seas

Yes but said gas is less concentrated (again, diffusion) and so the toxin would also be even less concentrated than layer 0 of the dark sea, so the war seas would become like the veiling storms

There is no “barrier” preventing magic energy from washing over the war seas, the black fog is an in game reminder of the boundary of the war seas, Vetex said so himself. Therefore, dark energy would not flood like water through a broken dam, but slowly diffuse like gas into the war seas as already the only thing that separates them is nothing but space. There is nothing preventing magical energy infiltration, it happens all the time. The war seas ARE NOT dammed up, dark sea energy simply already has spread as far as it can. I will restate, what keeps the war seas pure is not any barrier of sorts, but perhaps a cosmic vent which siphons energy off into outer space, and as dark sea energy leeches into the sea clusters, it is siphoned off. Eventually, all dark energy is siphoned away by the time of WOM

Though I imagine sushi or meat from a highly leveled or corrupted atlantean would lead to a straight forward game over.
vetex has made it canon that cooking gets rid of magic pollution in meat thanks to the atlantean bears so… (Edit: I just realized you specifically said sushi

the stuff about cooking atlanteans throughout this whole thread has turned out to be an actually effective strategy for survival 
(would it still be cannibalism though?? like eating a lost sailor would 100% be cannibalism, but at some point can they be so mutated that it doesnt count as cannibalism and none of the bad stuff from eating human flesh occurs?)
