She might end up panicking
she wanted her people out of the dark sea where it would be more safe, but now her goal has become impossible
Though, she is likely gonna be able to calm herself down, and with any of the loyal/dedictated sirens she has with her could potentially try to help the humans
at the same time though, there could be a siren civil war, as many of the sirens that may have believed the promise of safety if they were to enter a sea cluster suddenly becoming an impossible task could cause them to freak out and betray their queen. leading to the ones still loyal to the queen protecting some of humanity while also fighting off many of the other Sirens that either didnât listen to their queen wanting peace with us or now feel lied to cause of the sea clusters falling into abyss

and possibly has an increased chance of happening if Atlantean sirens show up making even more of the sirens more inclined to get help to fight against those
the thing is, atlantean sirens are only in the far reaches, which take days if not months of travel time
my headcanon is that sirens (along with satyrs and such) were âbanishedâ into the dark sea because humans be racist (as always) and hunted them to near extinction
part of the thing about the dark sea being kept at bay by Hecate also mentions how the dark sea is constantly expanding instead of dissipating, there could possibly be some sirens helping humans under the queens guide while a lot more or actually trying to hunt humans/Siren civil war could happen over the course of many years before Atlantean sirens arrive
Without hecates soul to keep the dark sea at bay, it rolls in at full force, and the higher insanity the further out you go all starts to roll in, no longer affected by that small pushback, spreading to even out across the world
i find it quite funny that abyss sea went from âoh look survivors surviving in a post-apocalyptic worldâ to âlmao everyone is doomedâ
