Iâve burnt out on writing abyss sea lore multiple times, but I keep coming back after a few days to cook something out, be it actually good lore or shitposts
i am either washed up or just need a really long break.
After allâŚi made 3 lore posts per week back in my previous schedule, which was mostly unbroken until high school, which is where i am currently.
you must have unwavering amounts of patience for this.
yeah, thatâs fair. I write abyss sea lore to break from a relatively large world building project that I know full well will never see the light of day. Taking breaks is good, if you feel like youâre forcing yourself to write lore, break till you truly feel like you should come back.
i am trying to find a productive way to take a break, in a way.
So i am trying to move away from lore and do something else that could work with my creativity.
which is sometimes hard due to lack of the time i have on the weekdays, and iâve got some opinions that i have alot of free time sometimes.
we dont discourage the cookery that is happening here
however, we DO discourage burning yourself out. several people have already apologized to me for not having time to make anything for AS and to that I say: please dont ever feel like youâre obligated to make something or contribute, just the fact that it was considered is MORE than enough. only create when you really feel like it, and for no one else but yourself.

Commander Barionâs Second PSA
Another incredibly infamous PSA by Commander Barion, this time about Sirens. Funnily enough, his younger cousin, Alya happened to be one of the many adopted Sirens. He found out about this literally 3 days before making the announcement. Commander Barion would go on to state that not all Sirens are hostile, but you shouldnât try to copy Denverâs actions and that his words about the matter may have been a tad crude. Below is a transcription of the PSA.

Not to say I condone his actions, but in a world where your chances of survival are quite slim most would at least like to go out on a high note

Lieutenant Jericho Walls
Known as the stupidest Lieutenant to grace the War Seas by G.N remnants, Jericho was one of the many early casualties in the invasion. Whilst a half-decent ship captain and strategist, his out of combat intellect was, lacking. This was demonstrated on a particular day, in which he essentially walked to his death in attempt to do some questionable acts to the former Mayor of Palo Town. After this, his name essentially became an insult amongst the remnants and is nearly everyday shit on by various G.N rankers. It did not help that he was known for either leaving his men for dead when a battle was being lost to ensure his safety and his stuck up attitude, even around those higher ranked than him.
Captain Denver Guardia
One of the brightest and bravest men amongst the G.N remnants, he much later on into the invasion. After seeing his parents, family, and friends get slaughtered at Palo Town he would be hit with both incredible grief and lonelieness. Heâd still command his men with greatness and was incredibly respected for what he did, but in time his grief and lonelieness over took him. Hearing the songs of the Sirens, poor Denver took a sailboat for himself, and sailed to his death. All the while, Denver simply sought freedom from the darkness that had taken the War Seas and void that was his lonelieness. Many talk of him as a cautionary tale and as a hero who simply couldnât take the mental toll the invasion had brought.
