theres been a lot of worldbuilding for during the Atlantean Invasion, but… what about after?
Assuming civilization doesn’t completely collapse from the invasion, eventually most atlanteans would have been killed leaving a lot less of them still around. How likely this actually is I don’t know for sure, but it would definitely take a LONG time, most likely years
But if I’m being honest I don’t think even any amount of conventional warfare (conventional in AO including magic and curses and stuff) could take down the invasion. Even if it did I imagine Atlanteans would never fully dissapear from the War Seas and they’d remain an eternal threat
however
I think the Order could have something to do with a hypothetical ending of the invasion. Maybe with their really shady experiments they could find a way to prevent people from getting infected or something
Regardless of what they would do I imagine it would be for selfish reasons, likely for furthering their control over the War Seas (especially considering it wouldve declined greatly due to the invasion)
I have a lot of other ideas but I dont wanna make this post really long
I’ve also been thinking abt post-apocalyptic Abyss Sea!!
And I definitely could see how the Order could play into it, having been the last standing organization left in the barren world. If they’re able to make it seem that they were the cause of the invasion ending, who knows how much power they’ll obtain when desperate survivors begin to practically worship them.

technically they are (they just respawn in the tower) and when the event is over, God (the game’s event system) says “aight gg” and TPKs all the atlanteans and resets the map.
