I think there is a small window after you parry where any following attack will also be parried. I assume that is what happened here, since the only person who would genuinely parry all of them normally is Argos.
Actually, he arrived at Ravenna to meet MC only 2 days after they got captured and taken as prisoner. And since we actually go to Ravenna a day after we escape Fort Talos, that means Morden actually arrived 3 days later, not 2 weeks, which conflicts with the note…
big agree on this one, there should obviously be more slots you can buy if you need them, but like give us 2 free ones plsssss. cuz like you probably will want a dark sea outfit, and a regular sea outfit noooo?
next update deckhands won’t require renown, sooooo just reset your renown and done, should get attacked muuuuuch less hopefully. but other than that AO is imo even outside of roblox one of these really good exploration games lol, not only is it fun to explore, exploring actually gives you a good amount of exp (imo there secrets should stay a secret, they can still give exp but they shouldn’t count towards island exploration)
my hot take is to just remove vitality as a whole at this point, we know goddamn nothing about it basically, we don’t know it’s main gimmick, seems like vetex hasn’t worked on it at all (because patrons don’t even have anything) and we are already at the dark sea.
i don’t have any hopes for it, because i know people are probably majorly overhyping it on how cool it will be and such, that people will just be dissapointed af.
i mean, sure definetly, but it still is kinda annoying, they should be recommendations, not requirements, let people try themselves out if they can do these higher level things or bosses.
tbh yeah, if there wasn’t a level lock i wonder how many less people would actually have enizor’s quest line.
My hot take: We should have gotten the updates so far in reversed order. So the Dark Sea Update should have come first, then Brewing, then Underwater.
Underwater was supposed to prep for Brewing, and Brewing was supposed to prep for Dark Sea, but looking at it all, it doesn’t seem necessary. The biggest things people go to the Dark Sea for are new armor pieces, ship parts, and exotic enchantments, not potion reagents. And even then, Vetex could have substituted the new reagents with new cooking ingredients. We still don’t have any exotic mushrooms, or fruits with unique status effects, and some new seasonings wouldn’t be too bad either.
The Dark Sea would still be rewarding enough without potions and jewelcrafting. Heck, the Dark Sea’s exotic gems are some of the least valuable ones in this update! Painite and Musgravite are only used for niche/meme builds.
Change Painite to give power instead of armor. Let Musgravite have MORE effects to play with, rather than just destruction or water breathing or… swim speed, or climbing speed. Easy - just give people bonus damage (mainly for DoTs and increase-damage-from-source effects), perhaps increased parry windows (because god knows how bad they can be at times), who knows what else might work.
anyways, yeah. This much should’ve been true all the way along the way - just to encourage people to play with the systems before they suddenly go for the next one. Dark Sea could’ve taken a little while longer, too, to get the Brewing to hit it, and then after the Underwater update, or the Diving update or whatever, where people would be scrambling for each and every diving spot and minor diving spot, with far more potential loot as a result of each of these.
Following that…
She was going to one day suggest, to the Forums itself, a cooking module rework - perhaps you’d like to come up and wave in your ideas when she posts it up?
Anyways, your hot take JUST came out of the oven and yet she’s all for it before it’s cooled down at least a little - it’s so good.
Maybe the Dark Sea Update could have added interchange potions but no other types until the Brewing Update, just like how the Underwater Update only added the waterbreathing effect.
