Na, the hint just made me realize that Freezing doesn’t actually increase the damage of ice which doesn’t make sense logically and ice could use that buff bc of how it works alone.

Plus the hint being wrong should be fixed and not ignored bc some casual players won’t look at the wiki and just use the game as a source, and the hint basically lies to ur face, which I don’t understand why no one talks abt this.

If you’re already cold, then exposure to more cold is more dangerous than if you’re not already cold. That’s why prolonged exposure to cold temperatures causes hypothermia, and not just a big temporary dip in temperature

then thats like blinded synergy for light

It’s different because the temperature is affected by other factors too

im getting more confused lmao

If you can get hot and take more damage from fire magic, then why can’t you get cold and take more damage from ice magic.

At least I think that’s the point

what ive collected is that its a balancing decision so that dot magics can have more damage upkeep since their impact dmg on average is lower than that of magics without a dot

That doesn’t mean that only DoT magics can have self synergies
