EVERYONE can be sensed because EVERYONE has magic energy. And again, a faction like this would be Goddard’d LONG before they’re EVEN CLOSE to being enough of a threat to do any of that.

Dude, my original discussion was intended to ask if such a faction existed and where the motivations behind it existing would come from, not how well they’d fare against mages in an anti-magic rebellion 
. I don’t know why you and others keep insisting they’d never succeed when that wasn’t the intent of my post in the first place.
The only method that could potentially work is either poison or explosives. Traps? Most could either just leap/airstep out of them or just outright destroy them. Attacking them directly? Refer to my mention of enhanced durability. And yes, everyone can be sensed, everyone has magic, regardless if they use it or not.
Even then explosives and poison is a bit iffy since you already have poison magic and that only does minor amounts of damage to people. And the player can already tank 1 barrel full of gunpowder without any armor by the end of the 1st sea.
Yes, explosives and poisons were what I was thinking. And I never said they would be attacked directly. That’s why I suggested methods of a more subtle nature to take out magic-users. I thought that was obvious.

A curse user would be excessive for dealing with an anti-magic faction. Just about any decently powerful person from say, the nimbus sea, would tear through this supposed “anti-magic” faction in seconds.
This bit wasn’t necessary, but oh well.
Aint no way someone rejects Gods’ gift, just because of some pollution while forgetting everything magic did for the human civilisation.
