made this image and decided it deserved better things than a random joke in a thread, so therefore I have created this entire topic dedicated to how much I FUCKING HATE armor piercing

  1. its literally just worse power, not much else to say
  2. WHY would vetex implement a stat that literally cannot be used effectively against certain builds, armor piercings only point in existence is countering defense, so if you run armor piercing against a low defense build, you’ve sacrificed an entire substat for NOTHING
  3. its boring as hell, you cant even make memey damage builds with it due to the fact its situational.
  4. it keeps taking up stats on other armor that could be used for better things, IMAGINE IF DIATRYS WAS FINALLY THE FABLED POWER/SIZE ARMOR.

It has basically no redeeming qualities, at least resistance can be used for senator Armstrong builds, this is USELESS.

oh yeah also the bteam inadvertantly nerfed the most useless stat in the game in a misguided attempt to make defense less meta

So true. The only stat where it’s a dice roll if it even works or not

Armor pierce is just unnecessary stat bloat that vetex added so new sets aren’t just carbon copies of old ones

well I would rather have it not be absurdly rare and have its base stats be power defense so I can apply an enchant of my choice

Armor Piercing? More like Heart Piercing, because my heart felt like it was hit with a stake when I found out what the Scorching Sentinel set uses

I honestly never used armor piercing since it got introduced. I always felt it’s odd they want to make redundant stat from power by making a new stat that can take more calculation and breeds new bugs to fix
