Atlanteans stats being increased: too much powercreep?

How will sea borders work in AO? If it’s similar to AA, there would be a random dead zone at the map edges without the dark sea, and if the seas are separated by the dark sea, it would cause many expeditions to end prematurely because people accidentally sailed into a barrier that was hidden by the darkness

the fact we may need this much power for nimbus kinda makes me scared how hard nimbus sea is going to be :frpensive:

the exact stat trap I was fearing the most, that every new boss is scaled to the absurd powercreep we currently have, leading to requiring a ton of grind to progress a new file

I have like 30 or more hours using insanity 3 0 warding

hopefully vetex adds a intermediary quest between bronze and nimbus sea that atleast warns you “hey there is going to be another difficulty spike”

The thing is, if its working this way, it wouldn’t because the Dark Sea Compass always points towards the nearest sea cluster, so It’ll just flip around at some point and point towards the border for Nimbus.
Also if its going to work this way, I think it would be nice for Kenton to at least mention that you’re about to sail into another sea.

You know there is an even worse alternative to this. The game decides that you are not strong enough and assigns another level gap

ngl I’d like it even more if the dark seas were actually a seperate server with a few “sailor lodges” just so we can reduce lag and makes it easier without having to try and transfer dark sealed to other servers which does have a likely chance of causing bug problems. It wouldn’t make sense for the world but games a game

mostly because of how little we are into the game, at least let us have a lot of options to abuse the size with

i actually care more about the float point error zone issues more than any sort of lag, getting flung off your ship constantly once you reach t2+ is obnoxious and i just don’t think roblox can handle how vast and wide vetex wants to make a SINGLE place in a universe
