Hop was decent yeah, he could’ve used some more leading up to becoming a professor imo
he also has a pretty nice design ngl I think hop was one of the few actually well made characters in gen 8.

Honestly out of all the non-evil enemy teams team skull is honestly the best out of them. Their entire thing is that they’re a bunch of people who were taken under Guzma’s wing (or whatever their name is) after they got failed by the system and are pretty funny at times. They also do still antagonistic things without being evil, like stealing pokemon
Of course it isn’t hard for them to beat their competition, fucking british girl stans and children

honestly any gen is better than 9 just because of how boring they made the player protagonists look
I know they were meant to be school students so they both wear the same uniforms blah blah but damn that was still a horrible idea they are so forgettable, what even was the dude’s name, florida or something
