It would be funny too since they’d get banned for beating the game in less than 5 hours.
I only said that cargo doesn’t need to be that hard, currently since wasting a hour just for nothing is just a terrible experience
you get 120 galleons from one cargo and 30 cargo is equalivalanto to 3600 galleaon and any ship above sailboat can hold up to X amout of cargo if you are counting ship storage so you
can basically gain 240k galleons and within aproximately X hours based on how fast your ship so if you get a full ship of cargo a then repeat while traveling between seas then along with this suggestion it could be more i havent tested how much cargo each ship type can hold but i estimate its bound to be alot this is also from experience
Galleons don’t have value anymore except for buying things from npcs tho.
have you seen the trade market
i doubt you have heard of upgrading your clan bank
If people trade off valuable items for an infinitely renewable currency that takes no effort whatsoever to amass tons of, good for them.
Good for the person buying, I mean, sucks to be the guy offering a sunken for galleons lol.
that barely even matters in game
who tf is trading a seasonal for 100k galleons anyways?
its like yall dont even want convenience at this point like, its just a simple suggestion trying to make an otherwise uneventful and boring part about cargo more interesting
I don’t think people are disagreeing with you the way you think they are. Most people (from what I read), don’t want the galleon market to be inflated, which your suggestion would cause. We all like the idea of faster cargo, but erasing the the time loading cargo causes inflation. To change that, you could try to come up with a revamp of cargo where it takes less amount of time, but is more skill-based. Some of these skill-based ideas could be pirates trying to steal your cargo, having to navigate a treacherous path, fighting sea monsters, etc. You could even be rewarded for doing cargo multiple times by having it be a skill like how cooking & brewing is.
TLDR:
This would inflate the economy. A way to counteract the inflation and keep the cargo runs shorter & less mindnumbing would be make it more skill-based.
This thread is just several arguments about how stupid cargo is
Personally, I think the entire cargo idea is good on paper but just hard to implement in game.
That’s honestly a good point, although I don’t really think it would matter because not only does anybody trade with or based on galleon values, their values are even set in stone.
Oh yeah. Maybe it could go in your storage and when you died, other players could take it from you(i don’t exactly know how stealing crates works)
And for the difficulty, I would probably leave that up to vetex. I’m not sure what it should be. Maybe pirate ships spawn more often, cargo sells for less and starts to cost slightly more or your ship becomes slower
DO THIS CHANGE!!! so that i can more easily SINK IDIOTS with BOATS FULL OF CARGO!!! LMFAOOOOO
We SILLY WIZARDS enjoy SINKING and STEALING ALL CARGO from people!!
LOW LEVELS ARENT SAFE LMFAOOOOO
#SILLY WIZARDS ON TOP & RECRUITING
This is a good idea but not something that I think should be added during this current time. Not until the cargo system improves, either by getting completely overhauled or something else.
Although I am all in for not making loading up cargo take 5 million hours and then only 10 minutes of sailing and selling. Turning the current AO economy into a Venezuela-equivalent economy shouldn’t be done this time or ever.
Really wish it was easier to deal with cargo
can you even trade galleon for something tho? just a question
