I’m not wearing it because it doesn’t match my drip. Since the value of it is theoretically infinite, I can charge an insane price for it and nobody can judge me for it. It’s just THAT rare, the more time passes the less of them remains on the market! Now THAT’S a bargaining right.
Does that mean that all values of non-event items are the same, since you can get infinite of those?
(At least most stuff, you still can’t have multiple patrimonies for example)
Theoretically, you can get just as many sunkens as you can get herbs, so they are of equal rarity by that logic.
That’s like saying bugatties are worth as much as a bag of chips because you can theoretically get as much bugatties as you wanted

One time someone offered me like three 2020 Seasonals for all of my gems… and I declined. Two months later, the gem wipe happened.

Well no not necessarily, while you can still get infinite of both, the drop rates are wayyy different. There are infinite amounts to be discovered, but the 1/2000 drop rate for sunken limits the amount at any one time, compared to the basically 1/1 rate for herbs.
