that means magic energy is hydrophilic

I guess curses are just soulbound now

i will glaze the story till i die but even then i dont understand this :sob:

“this weather is monstrous i must be in the dark sea”
if he wasnt in the dark sea then why bother mentioning it? so confusing

Bc he ain’t got a map, he just assumes he entered the dark c

yeah but where else has monstrous weather like he described other than the dark sea

Morden actually just got REALLY lost and ended up in the veiling storms

It’s bc the death curse, curses sometimes alter the area around them bc their energy

So explain why his compass was spinning??

It did infact affect the surroundings, but the complete opposite way. The area around the curse was dead still, but getting there was harsh weather.
Sorry for double notification

think of it as being so used to using the curse to live that it just takes off your original magic energy too in the process and you just violently explode

thats my headcanon

honestly i wouldnt mind if vetex just altered what is said in mordens journal so it matches where the curse actually was

The edge of the dark sea

again, compass
