Ok, here’s an embarrassing story from a couple of days ago
Me and my outdoor ed class went on a trip to an artificial river (not telling which one) and went kayaking for a few hours. Here’s the thing - I fucked up - I leaned the wrong way, which capsized me while still in the rapids; the funny thing is that it took me 10 seconds to realize what was going on (that’s right, 10 DAMN SECONDS). When I understood what happened to me, I quickly ripped the water skirt from my kayak and swan to an eddy - an instructor even thought I was drowning lol.
