yeah but what does relativistic mean

In power scaling it typically means about half the speed of light

not necessarily half, it usually means speeds that are fast enough such that time dilation starts to noticeably kick in (as if you were experiencing time faster relative to everything else)
it usually occurs at a certain % of the speed of light

I am probably going to be harsh, but I have never liked powerscaling as it simply is stupid to tedious degrees and has stupid things like “uM akShUaLly ReAcTiOn SpEeD iSn’T eQuAl tO mOvEmEnT sPeeD” (since, well, reacting to an attack or dodging as is meant by the term as dodging an attack at lightspeed would mean moving some part of your body at lightspeed, and at that point it’s a bit questionable why that character doesn’t just always move at that speed or bursts of speed whenever they’re fighting unless they can’t really move at that speed and that the writer(s) simply weren’t thinking about it) and a load of other random stuff that makes zero sense.

Cinematic timing. Plus the dodging a sol attack doesn’t always mean you’re faster than light. Via speed formula.

Dude, if a character is shot by a bolt of lightning and dodges it somehow despite never having shown that capability, it isn’t a valid feat. Even if they show that scene in slow-motion, (or cinematic time which is a term I’ve never heard in my life until now and had to search on the internet to find it on the VS Battles Wiki of all places) the bolt of lightning is still moving at a certain speed, it’s simply just showing said scene in slow-motion. That doesn’t mean a character should be able to unless they had a solid reason like actually having super-speed or something

Your trying to propose it’s an outlier. Well yeah, some characters it’s gonna be an outlier. For example let’s say character A goes from I don’t know massively, hyper sonic to fucking ftl with basically no reason it would be an outlier. I miss read that first argument by the way I thought you were talking about something different.

Wdym by that. Cuz most characters do move at the speeds(they been shown to dodge at/ been calc at) when fighting. Unless the previous feat was an outlier.
