I know some time ago I tested that by talking to Jumbo, and explicitly asked him if he was online and I didn’t see him in the top bar and neither did I see the green circle around his pfp.
Idk how you tested it on your own, you probably see yourself online regardless of your info being hidden or not, but could you turn them private again so I can see?
Oh, I created an alt to test it and still able to see my account.

My account’s pfp is still there.
Green circle still there, weird. I’m certain I never saw any of the people that keep their info hidden tho, like L1, Jumbo, WAX alts etc tho.
There could be a setting for that, but yes, just putting it private doesn’t make you inisible, I see now.
Well I still remember WAX being on the list of online people when he had his profile hidden a while back.
Jumbo as well, dunno about the WAX alts or L1.
