Even when I joined COI nothing really changed, not even joining clans.
joining clans mean really nothing unless you want your ego to be boosted or something
still fun to be part of a community though
But yeah I do kinda agree it was a little rude instead of declining and moving on
But from my experience, my brain has been surgically removed and I got a new enhanced one after being free
I don’t know about the rest of the brain, but I can confirm from stealthy observation they remove the part of the brain responsible for having good taste.
from a traders perspective that isn’t all that bad, ofc its not profit atm but its not the worst thing you could get, sunken helmet is worth about 1.5 seasonals and a acrimony is worth about half of a seasonal. So in value terms its worth it, but atm you could still get more just for the acrimony alone because of idiots thinking its worth more than it is
and his comment that halloweds are worth 3 seasonals is idiotic, they’re worth 2 max, and realistically shouldn’t even be worth that.

Every trader deep down knows the halloween event completely fucked the AO trading economy.
There is NO way around it.
I wanted to trade once.
I wanted an Oathkeeper back in 2020.
I tried to learn the values of items, relying on my Vastira to try and get what I wanted, because I grew tired of grinding the Exiled and didn’t want to dedicate my time to getting a sunken.
However… Minotaur gear just sucks. And they knew that.
i never got it and therefore didn’t touch the marketplace ever again
i also sold 80% of all of my seasonals back in feb/march without thinking lmao

This is fucking why I unironically hate trading in this game.
It’s not the fucking grind.
It’s that there’s SO LITTLE shit to grind that’ll be worth it that it just feels pointless.
Then there’s EVERYTHING from the WoM ages being completely untradeable until shit worth their weight comes along (lost spells/techniques, ancient magics, etc)
It just makes things so unfun when all the shit that is top tier trading quality, is shit that wont be obtained for so long.
sometimes i actually tried to trade for some stylish accessories on my alt but even THAT’S hard when you’re level 70
they did NOT want to give me their normal-barely-any-stat-bonus-may-as-well be-vanity-only cape
