Name 3 that weren’t just worse blasts in most scenarios.

Blast that gets around corners, insta-blast, anti-berserker blast. If that isnt good enough add cannon.

Blast is still strong and safe post nerf. New players arent gonna worry about dps much.

Explosion is the king of ease of use, and hits multiple enemies.

Beam is good for moving bosses, and snare is the “nuh uh” button at close range that give you i frames when landed

Honestly this cooldown change sucks but it hurts mage more than hybrids to be fair

I feel like you picked snare because you ran out of other options, that move is kind of more booty than blast in most scenarios…

Any grab will stop npc’s in the middle of their attacks

Only comparable thing to blast is explosion. Beam is a little situational, but i can jam it in

What is beam if not a long instant blast?

To be honest, i didn’t know that until now. I think many of us didn’t….

No i kind of ditched it for other lost spells after i couldnt hit a thing with it and that’s mostly because i am ass at the game. Which beginners usually are…

If you can land blast you can land snare

I never really thought of using the Get Real Close To The Enemy :tm: spell while playing as the Ranged class…

Also im not too sure if the “Cut Your Dps In Half” to blast change won’t really affect new players..

Thats your tool when enemies get close, or jump them yourself, snare is so powerful they had to give players/npc’s a 10s cd after bring grabbed
