im sure Katanas will get their Sword Step, sounds similar to Soaring Eagle so doesn’t seem too hard to do

The new rare abilities sound awesome but I’m still waiting for “Some Rare Spells will be usable as early as level 30” to come true :sob:

Warlocks can’t even get enough points to have both Javelin and Selino yet, and it seems they won’t for a long time since Vetex has to make a volcano, Skyhall (which is bigger than Ravenna), and Gliders for the level cap to increase at all, and it sounds like there are a lot of other features he wants to add before that.

If we’re supposed to have access to so many rare abilities that every player uses a different set, how come hybrids only get 1 rare ability and pures get 4?

snare + array would be pretty fun
but array would be so much stronger on hybrid builds

Most likely. Vetex said that Ravenna is “probably” the smallest capital island.

It probably will considering Calvus’ array attack becomes 7 spears (or arrows? idk its some weapon) in his second phase

I mean…if we thiiiink about it, it just delayed blasts. So of they will have same shapes.

It would be funny if a lv500 warrior can use mirrored river on one sword (he swings it so fast it’s like it’s two swords)

Seems like the general consensus for this change is that a lot of PVE players seem to hate it, which is sad to see, but also understandable.

In my opinion, there should either be:

  1. A toggle in the settings menu to turn off/on the clan-only server joining

  2. The clan only servers should be locked to Strong+ (50k infamy or more) clans/faction subclans, so people who want more casual clans are still able to play, without ending up in the potential warzones of the clan-only servers.

    • For organizations/factions, members on the third tier or higher would be locked into these servers (Captain+ in the navy, Sponsors in the Asynd).
  3. Same as above, but locked to Superior+ (150k infamy or more) clans

I personally cannot wait for this change, as it will bring about a LOT more clan versus clan combat for the empires update, with clan wars I find to be some of the most fun things to do in AO, but I also hope that a feature such as one listed above could be implemented to help protect the less PVP oriented players to a degree.

I would put any clan above 100k fame into its own server.

Positive renown shield should be removed in clan servers

Cant wait to use this spell while doing a 1v1 in elysium and ending up hitting anyone other than my opponent :fire:

  • No hp from vitality
  • Lower damage from spirit
  • Spirit blast buff
