It’s funny that Ancestors Battle has been used as the theme for Elius, the best boss in the game, and TWO trailers for two different updates. It’s just that good :joy:

I guess Vetex is gonna leave out the rapier skill then

A week is more than enough time to add it, since it’s already coded. But yeah, I still doubt it’s going to be added, simply because new skills probably shouldn’t be implemented so close to release. Not enough time to test or balance them.

Next rapier move is Ardent Rise, so i suppose its litteraly rising tide / spiral fury but up

vetex shoulda kept that in the game, rapidly putting on and taking off a heavy metal chestplate will kill you irl

Since the update is dropping next week someone summarize all the features were getting please :sob::pray:

  • Small visual improvements such as changes to large shockwaves, new bleeding sound effects, new death screen, new terrain destruction effects
  • Optimizations - The game’s physics system is now adaptive meaning it should suffer less from physics lag, fixed a memory leak related to imbuing, player characters now unload based on distance from your own
  • Fighter animation pack (Animated by Dreay_GD9)
  • Reworked Luck effect from potions to be more balanced
  • Clan banks are now Clan Treasury, and can no longer be withdrawn from
  • Added a Clan Tax feature, which can be set by clan owners, and represents the percentage of galleons earned by clan members that automatically get deposited to the clan’s bank
  • Added “sub-clan” creation to the Grand Navy and Assassin Syndicate, allowing high ranked players in those factions to create their own clans within it, while staying as a member of a faction
  • Clans can now edit their colors and logo
  • New spells/techniques/skills: Cannon (80 Magic, rare spell), Array (220 Magic, rare spell), Blitz (220 Strength, rare technique), Soaring Eagle (90 Weapons, default skill on dual bladed weapons)
  • You can now build structures and defenses on your clan’s claimed islands using the Building Tool, which can be saved and loaded
  • Added 3 new Dark Sea armor sets
  • Added 33 new obtainable items
  • Note system additions: You now earn 10 galleons for each appraisal your placed notes get, and can earn titles based on the total number of appraisals you receive
  • Players in clans with over 25,000 infamy are now placed in servers with each other to promote more clan-interaction.
  • You can now toggle arm visibility on your chestpiece to show both, left, or right
  • Added 2 new “Lost” armor sets which can rarely be obtained from completing parts of a treasure chart.
  • Underwater structures in the Nimbus Sea can now spawn deeper below the sea floor. Items obtained in these locations can sometimes have the new Abyssal modifier.
  • NPCs over Level 140 can now use rare spells and rare techniques, and defeating NPCs that are higher level than you now gives Rare+ Treasure Charts.
  • Added 3 new islands to the Nimbus Sea: Makrinaos (Criminal hideout/Assassin Sydnicate base), Shieldguard (Grand Navy base), Tidecliff Isle
  • Added 5 new islands to the Bronze Sea: Ierochos, Blackreach Island, Cedar Arch, Gloam Ruins, Thrylos Crossing
  • Added a way to change your first or second magic by finding a rare essence on islands in the Far Reaches of the Dark Sea. It appears as a cloud of bluish purple sparkling mist.
  • Quests can now be cancelled in the quests UI. (Only quests that weren’t chained from another quest can be cancelled. For example, if you are 2 parts into the Edward Kenton upgrade quest, you would not be able to cancel it)
  • The Intensity stat now reduces attack cooldowns instead of its previous effects.
  • New jewel secondary effects: Potency (increases potency of powerups and potions, crafted by Corroding reagents), Affliction (increases duration of status effects applied by your attacks, crafted by Poison reagents)
  • Added a new setting that lets you control which players can teleport to your server. (Ignored if you are on a renown leaderboard)
  • Revamped the Elysium private server system to use private server codes.
  • Added “Godly Nectar”, an exotic reagent that lets you brew an Elysium Flask, which lets you teleport to your Elysium private server or buy one while out of combat. (Does not get consumed)
  • Evander the Mountainbreaker, the first miniboss, now spawns in random locations in the Bronze Sea. He drops his armor and a new strength weapon type, the Colossal Greatsword, with its unique skill Colossal Cleave.
