Enough about "Is water wet?"

if other liquids like oil can make things wet then i guess lava counts too

it’s not dry it’s gooey get it right

Yeah google literally calls it a liquid and google even has goo in the name I think they would be knowledgeable

But thats entirely dependent on heat, if lava is heated up more it becomes much more of a liquid

mb dawg (I agree with u dw)

Absolutely any hostility that comes from this on my end is a joke and light hearted I just wanna be clear with that :sob:

If we work off this definition then I’ll just repeat my argument on why water is wet, since lava is covered with more lava (another liquid) then it is wet unless you somehow isolate a single molecule of lava

My point exactly
Sand is sandy until it is one grain of sand then it is just a grain of sand

No. Lava forms a membrane as it’s cooled by the air, so unless said object is also capable of piercing through it, it wouldn’t get “wet”.

Inconsistent and illogical reasoning

Yeah I’m wrong about that

Now lava is wet
Because lava is just a liquid that burns too fast for you to feel that it’s actually wet

Usually it’s Acid or Water that VISIBLY soaks things but I guess that can apply to everything

so water is wet lol anyone who says it isn’t is like touching water and saying “OH WHAT? ITS DRY! ITS DRY!” :sob:

For lava a bit different but that’s basically just hot and heavy water so same thing

Water isn’t dry, but it’s not wet. It doesn’t have to be one.

water is wet because it’s surrounded by more water, similarly, lava is wet because its surrounded by more lava
