aight so vetex has proven timeandtimeagain that the best way of getting information is to confidently assert wrong information and wait for him to correct you
with this in mind
Using all available data and weeks of intensive research, I have precicely calculated the formula for the logarithmic scaling of percentile stats. Without further ado:
Effect = log(stat)*0 + 1.5x
This is advanced stuff, so I understand if some of the slower among you are struggling to keep up. I’ve provided a visual aid to assist in understanding this advanced formula:
As you can see, the formula matches all available data points perfectly. We can also use this formula to derive new insights that were previously hidden to us:
With 160 magic size, we will be able to produce attacks 1.5x larger than normal.
With 5,000 magic size, we will be able to produce attacks 1.5x larger than normal.
With 0 magic size, we will be able to produce attacks 1.5x larger than normal.
Interestingly enough, this is actually the reason why wearing magic size equipment does shit all.
It’s a great relief to be able to finally conclude this huge research project - now we can all discuss the interesting implications of this discovery to bump the thread so vetex sees it to further the cause of science.
This is the most glorious source of information I think I’ve ever seen, I would of never figured it out if I had done years of research on this, I had no idea it was all 1.5x.
Holy shit. That makes a lot of sense. It’s all clear now. I just figured out that it will take about 30 minutes to get to level 5,000 on a casual player account.
