Explain the 9 character alignments to me in the simplest way possible

self explanatory title

Neutral: You don’t have any strong impulses towards good or evil. You haven’t killed anyone in your life and you’ve never helped anyone either.

Friendly: You’re a pretty cool person. You’ve done some favours here and there for various people in Magius, and they respect you for that.

Unfriendly: You kick puppies for fun.

Protector: You’ve come to love this world of magic for what it is, and you wish to protect its peoples to the best of your ability.

Hostile: You’ve come to love the adrenaline rush of taking a life. Nothing can compare to it.

Hero: You’ve made a name for yourself through your good deeds.

Villain: You’ve made a name for yourself through your bad deeds.

Saint: You understand the value of life and peace.

Tyrant: You understand the value of life and peace.

Legendary Hero: As you stand upon the tallest mountain of Magius, you see all of the hate and spite of the world. At this point, you have the power to wipe the world clean of such petty emotions… yet you still understand human values. A rare trait for someone of your power. Without evil, there is no good, and without good, there is no humanity.

Demon: As you lay in your subterranean lair, you can see all of the squirming weaklings of Magius crawling around their pathetic homes and villages. They busy themselves with such inconsequential notions… the world would truly be a more beautiful place without such ugly creatures.

Edit: Oh, this was about the DnD alignment chart meme… uhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh don’t use it, it’s bad

Lawful Good: You do good things for the sake of good

Neutral Good: You do… …things for the sake of good

Chaotic Good: You do questionable things for the sake of good and you’re also an anarchist.

Lawful Neutral: You’re a law abiding citizen but you don’t really do anything considered good nor bad.

True Neutral: You just do things. Good or Bad is honestly out of the question if you’re True Neutral.

Chaotic Neutral: You’re just an anarchist.

Lawful Evil: You’re a corrupt leader of some prestigious facility like the government or something. You probably have good publicity, and despite the fact that you are obviously corrupt, you exploit loopholes so that you don’t go to jail.

Neutral Evil: Standard run of the mill Villain

Chaotic Evil: You are Hitler. Extra points if you’re worse than him. And you’re also batshit insane.

now idk if some of my characters are neutral evil, chaotic evil, or chaotic neutral

2 characters are villains because theyre paid to (their father is an elemental god)
1 character is a villain because they want to be redeemed (???)
1 character might be a TeamTrees and TeamSeas extremist

lawful evil

what

…
Chaotic evil

their parents wants them to cause chaos because doing so makes the character “redeemed”

Okay.

Also, I’d strongly recommend against using the dnd alignment chart for your characters. It’s extremely restrictive and doesn’t really allow your character to grow unless you painstakingly plan it out with the DM. Just play your character how you think they’d act, not how you’d think that someone of their alignment would act.

I think I can make the alignment a soft restriction…

Different alignments reacting to femtex art

Lawful good: PERISH IT IN THE NAME OF-
Neutral good: Why?
Chaotic good: While that is down bad, here are some tips for next time
Lawful neutral: Disappointment
True neutral: ok
Chaotic neutral: That’s odd… do you have more?
Lawful evil: I am deeply sorry for drawing this
Neutral evil: Oh hey, I also drew femtex. Nice job. (Also the artist who drew it if they aren’t lawful evil)
Chaotic evil: pathetic, I do femtex rule 34 >:)

(Hopefully no one has done that last one)
